New Brighton Gymnastics Club held a large sports acrobatics and tumbling competition on Sunday 27th May. It was the first sports acro competition competition under UK Gymnastics and was a huge success with 4 clubs attending the feedback from coaches, parents and gymnasts was astounding. The competition was a nice, friendly and fun competition with over 350 people attending this day.

Head coach of New Brighton Gymnastics Club and Uk Gymnastics sports acro and tumbling organiser Steph Rimmer will be running a few competitions throughout each year. Steph will also be holding seminars and coaching courses for any club who wish to learn and participate in sports acrobatics. There are currently 6 different levels of pairs and trios and 4 levels of basic tumbling. However within the near future 3 more levels of acro will be added and a further 4 levels of higher level tumbling.
